Johannes Willbold is Co-Founder of Variant Security, building compiler-native proactive vulnerability remediation and exploit mitigation technology. He holds a Ph.D. from Ruhr University Bochum, where his research on space and satellite software security earned a Distinguished Paper Award at IEEE S&P. He founded the SpaceSec Workshop, regularly speaks at venues like Black Hat USA and DEF CON, and has presented at ESA and NASA JPL.
